The Primetime Variety Show & Open Mic returns to TheatreNOW on July 18th, this Wednesday night.

This monthly showcase features live music, stand-up comedy, poetry and more. The program is a blend between booked featured artists and open mic sign-ups.  All artists are welcome to sign-up and perform. This month’s featured artists include.

The show is hosted by Wills Maxwell. Maxwell is best known for the comedy news segment “What Did We Miss?” and least known for feeding birds at the park while dressed as Uncle Drew. Open mic sign-up is at 7pm and the show begins at 8pm. This month we are splitting the proceeds from the door with Interfaith Refugee Ministry. Interfaith helps refugees settle and rebuild their lives in the Cape Fear region. It’s a $5 minimum donation to watch the show.
